Time out bug

A problem I've run into a couple of times now: after I make a move my opponent's time runs and the site shows we are both connected. All of a sudden it switches to my move but all my time (more than just a few seconds) is gone and I have lost.

At first I thought this was a connection issue on my end, but the most recent time I pinged a test server during the incident (I suspected it was happening again) and it showed that my computer was indeed connected to the internet. Perhaps I had a brief disconnect, and then the webpage fails to synchronize correctly when I reconnect?

In any case, I appreciate the work you all do on this site, and that you keep it free, but this is a rather annoying bug that I've run into multiple times now from a couple different computers that really impacts my playing experience. Thanks for your continued work.

I get this too - a page refresh solves the problem, but it is impossible to know whether the opponent has moved or not... major problem

I have similar problem. My timer starts, but I don't see opponent's move. I do "pre move" and refresh page. After refreshing I see opponents move, my move, and "Black(me) left game".
But I had no connection problems, server receive my pre-move and do it.

I didn't see 35 b5 in time, do a pre-move (36 a4) and refresh page.
The are was no timeout between pre-move and refresh. So opponent can't click "opponent quit, victory" button.

Does refreshig page always get me lose the game?
