About me

Hi ! I am a 21 y.o Fide Master from Zambia. I am dedicating my time to coach others as well as playing actively in tournaments. I offer one to one online Coaching classes or group classes of up to five students.

Feel free to reach out to me by dropping a message here or by email: mutailenu4nshikokola@gmail.com

Playing experience

Being a very active player as a junior, I have gathered 3 medals on national level and two on International level, most notably winning the U-15 Africa Schools Chess Championship where I earned my Fide Master Title. I also hold the title as my university chess champion (2023).

Teaching experience

I have worked with kids and promising players, conducting classes and working as a second during tournaments. My best student so far has experienced a meteoric rise in strength being able to obtain 50% of a 9 round tournament in her First National tournament.

Other experiences

I am currently studying Engineering at faculty of science Tanger.

Best skills

Deep understanding of being able to solidly join different stages of the game in harmony, the opening connection to the middle game and the middle game connection to the endgame. A step by step process through understanding different patterns and identifying weak points in your play.

Teaching methodology

I believe in practice makes perfect. Consistently exposing the brain to different patterns and positions and being able to come up with your own quality of thought in such positions. I aim for the classes to be both fun and interactive, studying materials and homework are always provided.
