GM Vojtech Plat

Hello everyone, I am Vojtech Plat, actually 27 years old, currently living in Prostejov in the most beautiful country - Czech republic.

I started to play chess active in a chess club when I was 6.

I am Grandmaster, with the highest officially published FIDE elo 2589.

I played 1x Chess Olympiad in 2016 and 1x European championship in 2017 for Czech national team.

2nd on European Championship U12 in Montenegro 2006 (for example Giri took 5th place).

2x Czech champion in blitz before Navara, Laznicka in front of other best Czech players.

In 2016 also Czech champion in practice.

I had my first student when I was 18 and the student was immediately 3rd on Czech championship U12 without losing.

As a trainer/coach, I have had a few students with regional, national and world medals in youth events. For example one of my student with whom I work won the World Championship in rapid U8.

My best skills are endgames and tactical perception. But as a GM I have to know everything about chess :-)

I prefer more games(classic, rapid and blitz also!), then their analysis. I am known that I don't know much about theory, so I am trying to explain my students how to put pieces on the board more than some 30+ moves lines.

In the case of individual lessons, the program is different for each student of course and depends, what student wants to learn.
