About me

- I am GM Michael Roiz, 37 years old.

- During my career I got to top 40 in the World with 2680 (many years in top 100).

- Since 2010 I assist to top players, including GM Boris Gelfand during his World Championship match in 2012 vs GM Vishy Anand.

- Along this, I decided to focus on maximizing the level of talented students who have not yet reached their full potential.

- An experienced coach (over 10 years of experience).

Playing experience

- Number 40 in the World in 2008.

- Participation in 2 World Cups in 2005 and 2007

- Gold Medalist in board 3 in European Team Championship 2007

- Silver Medal at Olympiad in Drezden 2008 (2nd board)

- Winner of Drezden Internation tournament in 2015

- Winner of Gorenje closed tournament and beat GM Anatoly Karpov in 2007

- Winner of many rapid & blitz International tournaments

Teaching experience

- Preparing top players for tournaments since 2010.

- Assisting many young talented players to reach their potential.

- Several of my students, reached IM and GM norms withing 2 years of hard work

- My students won Medals in Youth European and World Championship

Author of several chess books.
