Playing experience

I have been playing chess since the age of 8. Throughout my career, I have been very successful in youth competitions, winning Polish Youth Championship 2 times (2014,2018) and coming 2nd 2 times (2016,2022). Thanks to those accomplishments I was able to participate in World and European Youth Championships (2014,16,18,22).
I was also privileged to be a part of Polish Youth National Team in European Youth Team Championship in 2022 winning 1st place and gold medal on the 2nd board.
My other achievements include winning Hull 4NCL International GM Tournament (2021), coming second in Mindsport Masters GM norm (2022).
On top of my OTB career, I am also an active online player with 2800 bullet rating and 2700 blitz rating on both Lichess and Chess .com.

Best skills

I've always been drawn to active and dynamic chess, a quality that is vividly reflected in my games. I strongly believe that calculation stands out as the single most crucial skill in chess, and it has been one of my biggest assets. In addition to calculation, a deep understanding of openings is paramount. As a lifelong player of 1.e4 as White, I've obtained extensive opening knowledge across various lines. As black, playing the Sicilian defence has been a defining choice throughout my career where I gained a lot of experience and discovered a lot of interesting ideas.
My best classical games:

Teaching methodology

I believe that calculation, opening preparation and analysis of your games are key bits in today's chess. Therefore our main focus during the lessons will be on improving your calculation skills and tactical awareness. Alongside the lessons, there are number of things that I offer:

Analysis of your games: I will ask you to send your last OTB games before the first lesson to identify your strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement. If you don't have OTB games, then I will take a look at your online games. We will also analyse together the games that you play to see what is working and what still needs to be improved.

Regular homework: After each lesson I will provide you with the homework that is appropriate for your level and reflects on what we learned during the lessons. In my opinion this is a great way to keep the consistency in training.

Opening preparation: Alongside the lessons and the homework, you will get the opening notes and the model games.

This compact model of training offers great results and quick improvement. However you should remember that your own commitment to training will be a key factor.
