yes! i love lichess. i actually persuaded 3 of my friends to switch from chess.com to lichess after they saw the difference :)
Seems we didn't quite get there in the end... I saw as much as 19,950 online earlier, can anyone beat that? Maybe an admin can confirm whether we crossed 20,000?

We are well, well over 19,000 again for the past several hours. Maybe the droves of people being ripped off by Chess.com and PlayChess have finally come to their senses.

The leaderboards are getting much stronger too. The top 10 blitzers tonight include 4 GMs and 5 IMs.
@oxnard It's not just at the top of the food chains, either. I'm using insights and the glicko2 system to monitor things and there's no question that the mid and low tier ratings are getting stronger overall, too. There's also more *horrendous* players but that's the point: There's more of everything. The population is exploding.
