Anyone can blunder!

@reallyLost, Stivis never mentioned Ke6 in post #1 so I had a different line of thought. When I looked at the link earlier (before I made post #3), I don't remember seeing that move 9 analysis (maybe it was there, but I really, really don't remember seeing it, sorry--I'm sure it was just plain moves back then) ... so the Ke6 I was referring to was the one I was thinking about which was move 11 (which is in fact, a stalemate).

Anyway, the point is moot as move 9 does not jive with my justification for the AI move of leaving the pawn alone instead of simply stalemating (that Little_Bobby_Tables admonishes as a terrible move which is, of course, true) so you and I were clearly not referring to the same Ke6 move. I'll just thank you for clarifying what you meant.
@weakwithwords, Oh sorry, I didn't realize that the analysis wasn't there when he posted this. In that case it is certainly possible that he was also referring to move 11. This thread is a bit confusing for us ~1500s when the analysis comes in halfway through the discussion. :) I'm have no doubt that I also wouldn't have seen move 9 as the blunder on my own.
@reallyLost, thanks. (I was beginning to doubt myself ... even more so than usual. Whew!) ^,^

Would be nice if lichess puts timestamps in chats -and- the analysis addenda. We can then have less confusing discussions directly in that area. However, I'm supposing that would potentially bloat the db so much that server costs can get affected. (Pessimism: ... and then the "libre" in lichess would disappear!)

If both players played perfect chess (with no errors/blunders/etc), then theoretically, won't all such games be draws?
Sorry I didn't make clear where the blunder is. Indeed the move 9.e6 is the one. 9.Ke6 should be played in order to gain the opposition and after that place the King in the 7th rank and queen the paw. 9.e6 is a blunder because after 9...Kf8 the opposition belongs to black and white cannot advance. I should mention again that this blunder only happened once and most probably if someone tries to set a similar position the play from the machine will be accurate. Perhaps after 2-3 times using the take back option something confused AI, I don't know.
